Our finished lubricants ensure first-class results in terms of gear wear, seal life, fluid oxidation and oil life. The synthetic lubricants also provide sustainability benefits, for example, by helping to improve energy efficiency which reduces fuel consumption and decreases CO2 emissions. Renewable content and high biodegradability make a range of BASF’s finished lubricants exceptionally environmentally acceptable.

BASF’s Fuel and Lubricant Solutions is a market leader for sustainable high-performance driveline lubricants in selected transportation markets. With our leading progressive technologies for  EMGARD® transmission and gear lubricants, we establish industry standards for high performance and sustainable lubricants through joint customer developments providing maximum value to all market participants.

Industrial Lubricants
We offer of finished lubricants for the industrial sector covers a broad range of applications including:

• Industrial gear for wind turbines +10years
• Heavy-duty mining and construction equipments
• Food contacts e.g., H-1 food grade for conveyor belts
• Bevel gear, hypoid and worm gear applications
• Fire-resistant hydraulic oils
• Compressor oils for air and gas compressors – including special applications such as refineries and refrigeration
