It ensures improvements in binder properties, such as a higher softening point and lower penetration. Butonal® 5126 greatly enhances the performance of hot mix and warm mix asphalt, including performance-graded asphalt. The asphalt’s useful temperature interval is widened thus improving resistance to rutting at high temperatures.
